Jaimie Veale, Ph.D. – Psychology Researcher
I am a New Zealander with a PhD in psychology from Massey University.
My research is has examined the prevalence, identity development, sexuality, and health of transgender people and I’m interested in how biological, psychological, and social factors interact with these. I’m currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of British Columbia. Among other things, I am currently working on the Canadian Trans Youth Health Survey.
I’m passionate about promoting transgender people’s human rights, health, and community. On the left is a list of organisations I have volunteered with.
